President Jokowi and First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo welcome Prime Minister Lee HsienLoong and his wife Ms Ho Ching in Semarang, Central Java, Monday (14/11).

Shortly after landing at Ahmad Yani airport, Semarang, Central Java on Monday, President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo and First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo headed to Wisma Perdamaian to welcome Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his wife Ms. Ho Ching.

Accompanied by a welcoming dance and a barongsai (lion dance) performance, both leaders headed to a room for a bilateral talk.

It is also scheduled that during the meeting President Jokowi and his Singaporean counterpart will ink a memorandum of understanding as the follow up of cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore.

After a lunch meeting, President Jokowi and Prime Minister are also slated to officially open Kendal Park by the Bay industrial zone located in Kendal Regency, Central Java.

Also joining the President at the meeting were Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Wiranto, Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut B. Pandjaitan, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi, Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Trade Enggartiasto Lukito, Head of Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Thomas Lembong, and Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo. (AGG/RAH/ES)(EP/LW/Naster)
