President Prabowo Appoints New Ministers, Vice Minister

President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated four new ministers and one vice minister of the Red and White Cabinet for the remainder of the 2024–2029 term. The inauguration ceremony was held at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Monday (09/08).
The ministers and vice minister were inaugurated based on Presidential Decree Number 86/P of 2025 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Ministers and Vice Ministers of the Red and White Cabinet for the 2024–2029 period. The four ministers and one vice minister inaugurated were:
- Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa as Minister of Finance;
- Mukhtarudin as Minister for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers/Head of the Agency for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers;
- Ferry Joko Yuliantono as Minister of Cooperatives;
- Mochamad Irfan Yusuf as Minister of Hajj and Umrah; and
- Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak as Vice Minister of Hajj and Umrah.
On this occasion, the newly appointed ministers and deputy ministers took the oath of office before President Prabowo.
“I do solemnly swear that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and execute all laws and regulations in an upright manner for my dedication to the state and nation, that I, during performing my duties, will strongly uphold the office ethics, work at my best with full responsibility,” President Prabowo led the ministers and vice minister to take the oath of office.
The inauguration concluded with congratulations extended by President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, followed by other invited guests. Also present at the ceremony were state institution leaders, ministers and vice ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, Commander of the Indonesian National Defense Forces General Agus Subiyanto, and Chief of the National Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
