President Prabowo Briefs P3MDI Participants, Kadin Members at Hambalang

President Prabowo Subianto, on Saturday (10/31), delivered a briefing to approximately 400 participants of the First Batch of the Presidential Program for Indonesia’s Future Leaders (P3MDI) for the 2026 Fiscal Year, along with 250 members of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) from across the country, at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor regency, West Java province.
This occasion gave the President an opportunity to deliver his guidance while also hearing updates from the business community on investment developments and the private sector’s contributions to national development.
The meeting commenced with a report from Kadin Chair Anindya Bakrie, who presented several key outcomes of Kadin’s 2026 National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas). Highlights included domestic investment, which reached nearly Rp2,000 trillion in the first two years of President Prabowo’s administration, reflecting growing business confidence in the national economy.
According to him, this achievement demonstrates the business community’s confidence in Indonesia’s economic prospects. Domestic investment, including contributions from medium-sized businesses, is also considered critical to strengthening Indonesia’s economic resilience amid global uncertainty.
The meeting also addressed the business community’s commitment to supporting the development of future-oriented industries, including EVs, renewable energy, and data centers, which offer opportunities to increase the use of locally sourced components.
President Prabowo also engaged with the business community on domestic economic development and guided P3MDI participants as part of efforts to develop Indonesia’s human resources and nurture its future leaders. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (FI/AW)
