President Prabowo Calls on Prosecutors to Act with Integrity, Courage

President Prabowo Subianto highlighted the need for integrity and courage among law enforcers in efforts to protect state finances.

This message was delivered through an inscription written by the President at the handover of the 2025 achievement report of the Task Force for the Restoration of Forest Areas (Satgas PKH) and the state financial recovery program at the Attorney General’s Office, Jakarta on Wednesday (12/24).

“Be prosecutors who are brave and honest in defending justice for the beloved Indonesian nation and its people,” President Prabowo wrote.

This message aligns with the President’s remarks, in which he underscored the importance of courage among law enforcers in protecting state wealth and upholding justice without discrimination. The President also reaffirmed his commitment to eradicating corruption from the very outset of his administration.

“From the moment I was entrusted with this mandate, I was determined to tackle corruption and oppose the stealing of state wealth by anyone, anywhere,” the President said.

The President also stated that this struggle would not be without risks and pressure and stressed that it must be carried out in the interest of the people and nation’s future. “When God calls us, it is better that we have defended the truth, stood with the people, and protected the nation’s future. With honor and nobility, we go to meet the Almighty with a sincere heart,” the President said.

According to the President, the courage and integrity of law enforcers are crucial to preventing the continued loss of state wealth caused by long-standing corrupt practices and abuse of power.

The inscription serves as a symbol of the President’s moral support for prosecutors and all law enforcers to remain steadfast in carrying out their duties despite challenges and pressure. This message also reinforces the Government’s commitment to firm and fair law enforcement that prioritizes the interests of the Indonesian nation and its people.
