President Prabowo Subianto held a meeting with the CEO of Danantara/Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan Roeslani. Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya in a written statement mentioned that the meeting took place at the President’s private residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java province, on Sunday (01/4) afternoon.

According to Teddy, the meeting discussed three main issues, including the development of five downstreaming project sites run by Danantara. “The meeting discussed three main issues, including the development of five downstreaming project sites run by Danantara, which are planned to start the groundbreaking phase at the beginning of next month,” said Teddy.

Teddy further explained that the downstreaming projects will be carried out in several provinces across Indonesia with a significant investment value. “These projects will be carried out in several provinces across Indonesia with total investment of US$6 billion or approximately Rp100 trillion,” he added.

The meeting also discussed the development of Waste to Energy projects focused on improving waste management. The Government is paying great attention to this program because it is considered capable of providing environmental benefits as well as economic value added.

“The development of Waste to Energy projects is intended not only to reduce the volume of open waste, but also to deliver significant economic benefits,” said Teddy.

The meeting reflected President Prabowo’s commitment to accelerating industrial downstreaming, boosting strategic investment, and promoting sustainable economic development through utilization of environmentally friendly technology across Indonesia.
