The discussion also focused on the condition and stability of the national financial and banking systems, including the implementation of export proceeds (DHE) management policies governed by government regulations.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy also said that the Head of State expressed confidence that the national economy will strengthen, supported by rising employment and sustained recovery through various strategic government programs.

“The President expressed confidence that the national economy will strengthen, supported by a growing workforce and economic revitalization through various government programs, including the MBG (free nutritious meal) program which has built more than 11,000 kitchens, the already completed construction of 350,000 subsidized houses, agricultural land expansion, and other ongoing initiatives,” he explained.
