President Prabowo Subianto delivered a keynote address at the International Conference on Infrastructure (ICI) 2025 held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta, on Thursday (6/12).

For the record, the forum, themed “Sustainable Infrastructure for the Future: Innovation and Collaboration”, was a two-day event held from June 11 to 12, attracting over 7,000 participants from 33 countries.

In his address, President Prabowo expressed appreciation to the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), for the successful organization of the event. “I’d like to thank you for the invitation and commend you for the well-organized and orderly event,” the President said.

President Prabowo underlined that global development challenges remain, and Indonesia is determined to tackle these challenges through collective determination and close cooperation. “Let us work with enthusiasm, with optimism, and with unwavering determination,” he stated.

Amid global uncertainty, the Coordinating Minister stated that Indonesia’s infrastructure development proves the nation’s ability to respond with effective solutions. This forum, he added, offers the world a glimpse of Indonesia’s new development path under President Prabowo’s leadership and vision.

“This forum shows that under the President’s leadership, Indonesia is not only a major power in Southeast Asia but also a respected global player in sustainable development,” the Coordinating Minister said.

Also attending the event were ambassadors from friendly countries, cabinet ministers and vice ministers, heads of state institutions, regional heads from across Indonesia, and representatives from the private sector and academia. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (FI/TM)
