President Prabowo Discusses Global Situation, National Strategies in Limited Cabinet Meeting

President Prabowo Subianto convened limited cabinet meeting with Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs, other Ministers, and high-ranking officials under the coordination of the Coordinating Ministry for Political and Security Affairs at his Hambalang residence, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Monday (23/06). A fruitful meeting mainly focused on the dynamics of the global situation and its impact to the Indonesia’s national interests.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya explained that President Prabowo, in particular, would like to ensure the Government’s readiness to address the increasingly complex and challenging global situation. He further emphasized that the meeting was held to formulate the direction of strategic policies aimed at maintaining national stability.

“The meeting discussed the evolving global situation and its impact on Indonesia, along with strategic steps that need to be prepared,” the Cabinet Secretary said.

President Prabowo, on various occasions, has emphasized the importance of preparedness and inter-institution solidarity in addressing international turmoil that could potentially affect the national political, security, and economic situation. The meeting at Hambalang was part of President Prabowo’s efforts to strengthen cross-sector coordination, particularly in the strategic fields of national defense and security.
