President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that equal access to education is a key commitment of the Government in building human resource quality. In his speech at the launch of the Digital Learning Program for a Smart Indonesia at Public Junior High School 4 Bekasi on Monday, November 17, 2025, the President emphasized that the underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost (3T) areas are the primary focus in the distribution of digital interactive panel devices (Interactive Flat Panels (IFP)).

“One day, people will remember how 288,000 of these devices were distributed to all schools in Indonesia, including those in 3T areas. To the most remote places, the furthest locations, and the most underdeveloped areas. We send them there. In fact, these areas are the first priority for distribution,” said President Prabowo.

The Head of State also revealed that there are still 140 schools in mountainous areas that are very difficult to access. However, President Prabowo emphasized that the Government has assigned the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) and the National Police (Polri) to ensure that the devices can reach all schools without exception.

“I just received a report that there are 140 schools in mountainous areas that are difficult to reach. But Insha Allah, we will be able to reach those places with assistance from TNI and Polri, so that all schools will have the same opportunity,” said the Head of State.

In this occasion, President Prabowo also emphasized that a great nation is the one that is brave enough to acknowledge its shortcomings and work to improve them. The Government continues to push for the improvement of school quality, the consolidation of education, and the preparation of modern facilities throughout the country.

“This is just the beginning, we will keep improving. We will soon open a studio in Jakarta. Teachers will be able to teach in all schools across Indonesia. Teachers in regions who feel the need for enhancement, can access all modules and these modules will later be available for free for anyone,” added President Prabowo.

After the event, President Prabowo explained that the Government is ensuring that all schools will receive support in the form of new facilities within less than a year. This effort will be strengthened by the construction of hundreds of new schools and the improvement of existing school facilities to ensure an overall increase in the quality of education.

Alhamdulillah this program can be started quickly. In less than a year, all schools will have received it. Next year, we will continue to add more. We must improve the quality of our education. We will build hundreds of new schools, integrate thousands of schools, and improve them all. We will improve our entire education system,” said the Head of State.
