Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi delivers a press statement in Hambalang village, Bogor regency, West Java province, on Wednesday (06/17).

President Prabowo Subianto has expressed appreciation to all parties who had contributed to the organization of the 2026 hajj pilgrimage.

The President said his thanks to the Eighth Commission of the House of Representatives (DPR), Hajj Supervisory Team, and officials of the Ministry of Hajj during a meeting at his private residence in Hambalang village, Bogor regency, West Java province, on Wednesday (06/17).

“The President conveyed his appreciation on his own behalf, on behalf of the Government, as the Head of Government and Head of State, to all members of the Ministry of Hajj, Vice Ministers of Hajj, and all the officials of the ministry. He also thanked the Speaker and Vice Speakers of the DPR and Chairperson and Vice Chairpersons of the Eighth Commission for the smooth organization of hajj this year,” Minister of State Secretary said in his statement following the meeting.

According to the Minister, the President also expressed appreciation to the hajj officials who had performed their duties with full discipline and great dedication.

“The President would also like to extend his gratitude to all officials. There were approximately 2,000 hajj officials who had carried out their duties with great discipline, dedication, and spirit to ensure that they provide the best service to all hajj pilgrims,” he said.

The Minister further stated that the success of the 2026 hajj organization was thanks to the cooperation of all Indonesian hajj pilgrims.

“The President also stated that the success cannot be separated from the cooperation of our hajj pilgrims, and he expressed hope that Allah would accept their hajj,” he remarked. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (DH/LW)
