President Prabowo Has Audience with APINDO, Strengthens Business Collaboration to Create Jobs

President Prabowo Subianto, on Monday (02/09), had an audience with the Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO) at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java province. The meeting served as a forum for exchanging views on the future direction and prospects of the national business world, as well as for strengthening synergy between the Government and business actors.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, in his written statement, said that President Prabowo invited entrepreneurs to take an active role in promoting inclusive economic growth through job creation in various strategic sectors.
“In the meeting, the President invited entrepreneurs to collaborate in creating jobs in various strategic sectors, such as textiles, garments, footwear, furniture, and the food and beverage industries,” Cabinet Secretary Teddy wrote in his statement on Tuesday (2/10).
He also said the entrepreneurs who are members of APINDO expressed their commitment to and support for the President’s grand vision. This support is specifically aimed at realizing public welfare through human resource development and sustainable industrialization.
“The entrepreneurs expressed their full support for the President’s vision, particularly in alleviating poverty, providing the best nutrition and education for Indonesian children, and strengthening industrialization that has a broad impact on the nation and state,” he said.
