As part of his official visit to Saudi Arabia, President Prabowo Subianto Wednesday (07/02) had a bilateral meeting with the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – commonly known as MBS – at the Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The meeting took place in warm and cordial atmosphere, reflecting the longstanding and close historical tie between the two nations.

On that occasion, the Crown Prince relayed the best regard from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to President Prabowo Subianto.

“His Royal Highness the Crown Prince conveyed to His Excellency the President the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, along with his best wishes for His Excellency’s health and well-being, as well as continued progress and prosperity for the Republic of Indonesia and its brotherly people,” the press release reads.

The President responded to the greeting by conveying his renewed assurances of consideration and sincere wishes to King Salman. He also expressed his gratitude for the warm and exceptional welcome extended by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and officially invited the Crown Prince to pay a return visit to Indonesia.

The Head of State also delivered his highest appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for providing the best services for Indonesian pilgrims during Hajj and umrah.

“The Indonesian Government wishes to convey its sincere appreciation for the efforts of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their dedicated service to the Two Holy Mosques as well as hajj and umrah pilgrims, including other visitors. Indonesia also commends the excellent coordination between the two countries in ensuring the comfort and well-being of Indonesian Hajj and Umrah pilgrims,” the President remarked.
