President Prabowo Inaugurates 10 Indonesian Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary

President Prabowo Subianto Wednesday (10/08) officially inaugurated ten Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (LBBP) and one Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to friendly countries, during a ceremony held at the State Palace, Jakarta.

The inauguration marks the official commencement of duty for the newly appointed representatives of the Republic of Indonesia who will serve in various friendly nations.

The appointment of the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary was made under Presidential Decree Number 112/P of 2025 on the Appointment of Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia, while the Deputy Ambassador was appointed based on Presidential Decree Number 113/P of 2025 on the Assignment of Deputy Ambassadors of the Republic of Indonesia.

In a solemn ceremony, President Prabowo led the oath-taking of the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Deputy Ambassadors of the Republic of Indonesia. With a firm and dignified tone, the President Prabowo dictated the oath of office, which the ambassadors recited in unison.

“That I, to be appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Deputy Ambassador, will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will carry out all laws and regulations in a straightforward manner, for the sake of my service to the nation and state,” President Prabowo said when dictating a fragment of the oath of office to the ambassadors.

Following the oath-taking, the ceremony proceeded with the signing of the minutes of inauguration by representatives of the newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

The Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and the Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia officially inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto are, as follows:

  1. Lukman Hakim Siregar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Syrian Arab Republic, based in Damascus;
  2. Adam Mulawarman Tugio, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, based in Hanoi;
  3. Andy Rachmianto, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, concurrently accredited to the European Union, based in Brussels;
  4. Kuncoro Giri Waseso, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Arab Republic of Egypt, based in Cairo;
  5. Berlian Helmy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Azerbaijan, based in Baku;
  6. R.M. Iman Hascarya Kusumo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Malaysia, based in Kuala Lumpur;
  7. Listyowati, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, based in Dhaka.
  1. Syahda Guruh Langkah Samudera, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the State of Qatar, based in Doha;
  2. Hotmangaradja Pandjaitan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Singapore, based in Singapore;
  3. Laurentius Amrih Jinangkung, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, based in The Hague;
  4. Irene, Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Beijing, People’s Republic of China.

The inauguration ceremony ended with congratulatory remarks by President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, followed by the invited guests.

With the inauguration of the newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Deputy Ambassadors, President Prabowo reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to advancing Indonesia’s diplomacy on the global stage, expanding strategic partnerships, and safeguarding national interests amidst the evolving dynamics of international politics and economics.
