President Prabowo Inaugurates Madukoro Flyover to Boost C. Java’s Connectivity and Economy

President Prabowo Subianto has inaugurated Madukoro flyover in Semarang city, Central Java province, Wednesday (12/11). This strategic infrastructure is expected to facilitate traffic flow, improve connectivity, and serve as a key boost to economic development in Central Java province, and Semarang city in particular.

“Alhamdulillah, on this auspicious day, we gather here to inaugurate one of important infrastructures, namely Madukoro flyover in Semarang city. We understand that infrastructure is important to create connectivity and ease traffic flow, and followingly generate economic development,” President Prabowo said in his remarks.

President Prabowo also emphasized that infrastructure development should prioritize people’s interests. It is essential considering the fact that the development is funded by the people’s money.

“We should be aware that this infrastructure is developed with the people’s money. I remind you once again that every Rupiah spent from the people’s money should be used for a large benefit of the people,” the President stated firmly.

In this opportunity, President Prabowo expressed his appreciation to those who get involved in the construction of the flyover. He requested that all construction projects meet good specification and quality standards.

“Give the best, so our people can reap the benefit of our country’s and nation’s potentials to the large extent,” President Prabowo urged.

Madukoro flyover is designed to reduce traffic in one of most jammed spots in Semarang city as well as to improve interregional access. This infrastructure is deemed as a big step taken by the Government in order to create a better connectivity in the province.

The inauguration of Madukoro flyover is proof of Government’s commitment to provide good quality infrastructure that is able to support the economic growth and to increase the people’s welfare.
