President Prabowo visits SPPG Polri at Palmerah, Jakarta on Friday (02/13)

President Prabowo Subianto on Friday (02/13) inspected the National Police Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG Polri) in Palmerah district, Jakarta, ensuring the readiness of facilities and supporting systems for the national nutrition fulfillment program.

Arriving at 9.00 a.m, President Prabowo was welcomed by the Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri), General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and greeted with a traditional “Ondel-Ondel Dance” performance, reflecting the richness of Indonesia’s cultural heritage and adding a solemn atmosphere to the reception.

Before proceeding to the main inauguration site, President Prabowo first reviewed the SPPG Polri exhibition area where he received a briefing on the concept, equipment, operational systems, as well as the strengths and distinctive features of SPPG Polri in supporting the community nutrition fulfillment program.

SPPG Polri is designed with integrated management standards, including food processing, packaging, and distribution. The facility is also equipped with quality control and food safety monitoring systems to ensure that the nutrition provided meets established nutrition standards.

President Prabowo also visited the greenhouse, as part of the SPPG Polri supply chain. The greenhouse aims to support the availability of fresh and high-quality food ingredients while strengthening a sustainable food security system. This concept emphasizes the importance of integrating raw material production and nutrition fulfillment services within a single ecosystem.

“The strengthening of this ecosystem aims to meet the supply chain needs of SPPG raw materials, while also creating a multiplier effect through the involvement of farmers, livestock breeders, MSMEs, and local logistics providers. This will help stimulate economic circulation, create jobs, and improve community welfare,” said Kapolri Listyo Sigit Prabowo in his report.

With this level of preparedness, SPPG Polri is expected to become a modern, effective, and sustainable model for nutrition fulfillment service delivery, while reinforcing the foundation of Indonesia’s human development toward the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (RD/AW)
