President Prabowo Subianto Sunday (07/20) revealed the strategic achievements of his administration in front of thousands of Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) members during the 2025 PSI Congress at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, Central Java.

On that occasion, President Prabowo highlighted positive progress across several national development indicators, including investment performance, poverty reduction, and the expansion of social protection programs.

The President also shared that Indonesia’s 2025 national investment target, as outlined in the State Budget (APBN), had already been met months ahead of schedule.

“I received a report from Minister of Investment that our national investment target set in last year’s State Budget has already been reached this August, four months before the end of the year,” the President announced, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience.

In addition, the President also shared data from Statistics Indonesia (the Central Statistics Agency or BPS) showing a significant drop in both unemployment and poverty rates.

“Head of BPS reported to me that unemployment has gone down, and absolute poverty has also decreased. This is coming directly from BPS,” President Prabowo stressed.

The President also took the opportunity to highlight the strategic importance of Danantara, Indonesia’s sovereign wealth fund, while describing Danantara as a key instrument for protecting and managing the nation’s long-term wealth.

“Danantara safeguards and manages the wealth of our children, grandchildren, and future generations,” he added.

Addressing party members at the PSI Congress, President Prabowo emphasized the Government’s strong commitment to securing the future of Indonesia’s younger generations, among others, through the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG), a flagship initiative that has gained international attention.

“Wherever I go abroad, people are talking about our programs. The free nutritious meal program is being discussed internationally. There has never been a program of this scale before,” he said.

The Head of State also noted that by July 2025, the MBG program had already reached over 6 million beneficiaries, with numbers projected to rise significantly in the coming weeks.

InsyaAllah [God willing], by the end of August, the number of beneficiaries will reach more than 20 million. In fact, if all goes well, it is even likely to exceed 25 million by then,” the President remarked. (Bureau of Press, Media, and Information (BPMI) of Presidential Secretariat) (RIF/TM)
