President Prabowo Issues Strategic Guidance in Routine TNI Meeting

President Prabowo Subianto held a routine meeting with several high ranking officials of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Friday (01/16).

The meeting was part of the Head of State’s periodic agenda as Supreme Commander of the TNI.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, in a written statement uploaded on Saturday (01/17), said that the meeting was attended by the high ranking officials of the  TNI, including the TNI Commander and Deputy Commander, Army Chief of Staff, Navy Chief of Staff, and Air Force Chief of Staff.

During the meeting, President Prabowo was accompanied by Minister of Defense, Minister of State Secretary, and Cabinet Secretary. According to Teddy, President Prabowo directly conveyed several strategic directives to the TNI leaders.

“The President delivered several directives as Supreme Commander to the TNI regarding defense and security strategies, as well as future geostrategic plans,” Teddy explained.

This routine meeting underscores President Prabowo’s commitment to safeguarding national sovereignty and stability through direct and ongoing communication with the TNI leaders.
