President Prabowo Joins Swearing-in Ceremony of New Constitutional Court Justice

President Prabowo Subianto, Thursday (02/05), at the State Palace, Jakarta, witnessed Adies Kadir take an oath as Constitutional Court Justice.

The appointment was made based on Decree of President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 9/P of 2026 on the Dismissal and Appointment of Constitutional Court Justice proposed by the House of Representatives.

The decree was red out by Deputy to Minister of State Secretary for Apparatuses’ Administration Affairs Nanik Purwanti. Afterwards, Adies Kadir took an oath before the Head of State.

“I do solemnly swear that I will take responsibility as the Constitutional Court Justice in the best and fairest way possible, to bear true faith and allegiance to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of

Indonesia and to execute all laws and regulations in an upright manner according to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia for the sake of the state and the nation,” Adies recited.

After taking the oath, he signed the official record of the oath-taking. For the record, Adies Kadir was appointed as a Constitutional Court Justice during plenary session of the House of Representatives on Tuesday (01/27).

Following the ceremony, President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming as well as invited guests congratulated the new Constitutional Court Justice.

Also attending the inauguration were heads of state institutions, ministers, and vice ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, Chief of the Indonesian National Police Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Deputy Commander of the Indonesian National Defense Forces Tandyo Budi Revita. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (RAS/MMB)
