President Prabowo, King Abdullah II Attend Joint Drone Exercise between TNI, Jordanian Armed Forces

In a bid to deepen strategic collaboration in defense, President Prabowo Subianto and King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan witnessed a joint drone exercise, demonstrated by the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) and the Jordanian Armed Forces at the Djamsuri Air Force Shooting Range, Halim Perdanakusuma, Jakarta, on Saturday (11/15).
Both leaders arrived at the shooting range in one vehicle, marking their close personal relationship. They were greeted by the Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin and the TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto.
The event commenced with a Pencak Silat Merpati Putih performance, showcasing the strength, concentration, and breathing technique distinctive to the martial arts. The performance was then followed by a TNI martial arts demonstration presented by 20 Marine Corps soldiers, 20 Kopassus – Special Forces soldiers, and 40 personnel from Kodam Jaya – Regional Military Command.
As the joint drone exercise started, various tactical drones and supporting systems were deployed, showcasing aerial maneuvers, reconnaissance capabilities, and coordinated attack simulations. This collaboration is a part of efforts to deepen defense cooperation between Indonesia and Jordan, specifically in military technology and the development of a modern defense system.
The event ended with a joint photo session of President Prabowo, King Abdullah II, and the joint personnel of the TNI and Jordanian Armed Forces. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (FI/AW)
