President Prabowo Subianto extended his appreciation to the Task Force for the Restoration of Forest Areas (Satgas PKH) for their hard work and bravery in enforcing the laws and recover the state assets.

“I would like to thank Satgas PKH for their bravery. For me, you are the real warriors. You are true patriots. We are working together in unity, including the prosecutors, the police, the military, and the ministries,” the President said during the handover of recovered state funds at the Attorney General’s Office Compound, Jakarta, Wednesday (12/24).

President Prabowo affirmed that the success of the Task Force in regaining control of 4 million hectares of plantation land, recovering trillion of rupiah is the results of hard work.

“The resistance efforts that we understand and are aware of, against people being incited, thugs being paid to fight officers happened in places far away, not seen by the media, not seen by cameras, not seen by influencers, vloggers, and the like,” the President said.

According to the President, their efforts are grounded in loyalty to the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and in love for the nation and the people.

He also reminded that the struggle to uphold truth always faces challenges, akin to a battle between truth and evil.

“There will always be those who uphold the truth and those who choose the path of evil. Those who act unjustly and spread falsehoods, and those who stand upright. Like the Kaurava and the Pandava, it is a struggle between good and evil,” he said.

Nevertheless, the President emphasized that the Government will not be intimidated by pressure, slander, or attempts to undermine it. He expressed confidence that firmer actions will be taken in the future amid difficult challenges ahead.

“They may buy anyone they want, spread slander, or try to discredit us but it does not matter. We will keep working for the people, and the people will see and feel the results of our work. We will protect the nation’s wealth without hesitation,” he emphasized. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (RAS/MUR)
