President Prabowo Subianto, Friday (8/15), expressed his high appreciation to all state institutions for their role and performance in safeguarding the ideology, maintaining democracy, and supporting the Government. The Head of State conveyed this appreciation in his inaugural State of the Nation Address at the Annual Session of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR-RI), and the Joint Session of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR-RI) and the House of the Regional Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD-RI) at the Nusantara Building, Jakarta.

President Prabowo praised the MPR RI for consistently implementing its grand vision as the home of the nation, guardian of the Pancasila ideology, and sovereignty of the people. “The MPR RI consistently reaches out the people, explaining the four pillars of the life of the nation and state. This is crucial because an understanding of the 1945 Constitution can save our economy and democracy,” said the President.

The Head of State also commended the DPR RI that in the early 2024–2029 term has passed 14 draft laws, established the 2025–2029 national legislative program, and assisted the Government in realizing equitable efficiency in the State Budget. Furthermore, the DPR RI is considered to be actively carrying out its oversight function through 26 Working Committees and 3 Oversight Teams.

The performance of the DPD RI also received positive attention from President Prabowo. He said that the enactment of more than 50 institutional decisions and support for sustainable development reflect the DPD’s commitment to championing regional aspirations at the central level, including monitoring and evaluating regional regulations to ensure that they align with national policies.

President Prabowo further praised the integrity of the Indonesian Audit Board (BPK RI) that has successfully promoted accountability in the state financial governance, with 97.7 percent of ministries and institutions receiving an unqualified opinion (WTP) in the 2024 fiscal year. “It has overseen national priority programs, increased the effectiveness of state budget spending, and saved tens of trillions of rupiah in state funds and assets,” he said.

The Constitutional Court (MK) was cited for successfully handling hundreds of cases, including election disputes through effective and timely trial processes. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court (MA) was commended for implementing judicial reform, developing an e-court system, and significantly improving civil dispute resolution and mediation.

President Prabowo also said that the Judicial Commission (KY) has played its strategic role in maintaining the integrity of judges. From 2024 to July 2025, the KY selected nine candidates for Supreme Court justices and three candidates for ad hoc justices at the Supreme Court, received 3,752 public reports, and proposed sanctions for 116 judges.

In the end, President Prabowo expressed his gratitude to central bank Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS), the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), the General Elections Commission (KPU), the Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu), the Indonesian Ombudsman, the National Human Rights Commission, and other national institutions for their contributions. “I express my appreciation to these state institutions for their performance in running the country,” said President Prabowo.
