President Prabowo Subianto Monday (09/29) formally launched the mass signing of 26,000 Housing Loan Agreements (KPR) under the Housing Finance Liquidity Facility (FLPP), along with a key handover ceremony held in a hybrid format, organized at Pesona Kahuripan 10, Cileungsi, Bogor Regency. The event marked the presence of the state in helping millions of low-income citizens realize their dream of owning decent housing.

Upon arrival, President Prabowo was warmly welcomed with traditional rebana music performed by residents of Pesona Kahuripan. Students waving small red-and-white flags and parents lining the roadside greeted him enthusiastically as the presidential helicopter landed and made its way to the venue.

An emotional moment occurred when Clara, a student and beneficiary of both the subsidized housing program and the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) initiative, offered a bouquet of flowers to President Prabowo. Before entering the main tent, the Head of State inspected several model houses already built in the area.

In his remarks, President Prabowo reaffirmed the Government’s unwavering commitment to ensuring that low-income citizens can enjoy greater welfare through access to proper housing. He expressed his appreciation to all parties who had worked tirelessly to bring the program to fruition.

“I am very proud, very happy, and I deeply appreciate all parties who have worked so hard to make this program possible, including the organization of today’s event,” said President Prabowo.

In his report, Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait conveyed that the handover of 26,000 subsidized FLPP houses was carried out simultaneously across the country. A total of 200 families received their house keys in Cileungsi, while the remaining beneficiaries participated virtually.

“Mr President, today 200 families are receiving their keys here, while the remaining 25,800 beneficiaries are distributed across Indonesia. We hope you will kindly speak with beneficiaries in Aceh, Papua, North Maluku, and East Nusa Tenggara. Today, 100 locations are joining you. Although far apart, they are united in joy as they receive subsidized housing from your administration,” reported Maruarar, drawing applause from the audience.

The key handover was filled with smiles and tears of joy from beneficiaries, from farmers and small traders to online motorbike taxi drivers. For them, a house is not only a shelter but also a symbol of security and a better future. Through the handover of 26,000 FLPP subsidized houses, the Government underscored its steadfast commitment to delivering social justice and to providing genuine well-being for all Indonesians.
