President Prabowo Leads Special Meeting at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base Before Departure for Australia

President Prabowo Subianto, Tuesday (11/11), held a special meeting at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta. Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, in a written statement, stated that the Head of State postponed his scheduled flight to Australia for two hours to lead the meeting in person.
“President Prabowo Subianto postponed his scheduled flight for two hours to lead a special meeting at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta, on Tuesday (11/11),” Cabinet Secretary Teddy said in a written statement.
He also said that the meeting was held before President Prabowo departed for Sydney, Australia, for a one-day state visit.
The closed-door meeting was attended by several high-ranking state officials, among others, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives Prof. Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) Muhammad Yusuf Ateh, Head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) Ivan Yustiavandana, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy said President Prabowo in his directive emphasized the importance of accountable state financial management, focusing on tangible results for the public. The President stated that every budget sourced from public funds should be used responsibly and on time.
“Every rupiah of public funds allocated must be targeted and used within the specified time period, including regional funds, which also come from public,” President Prabowo stated, as conveyed by Cabinet Secretary Teddy.
He said that President Prabowo also instructed Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi to hold immediate coordination across ministries and ensure optimal budget absorption ahead of the end of the year.
“The President also ordered the Minister of State Secretary to hold immediate coordination and review budget absorption and the use of regional transfers managed by regional heads ahead of the end of this year,” said Cabinet Secretary Teddy. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (JAS/MUR)
