President Prabowo Meets Emir of Qatar in Doha for Strengthened Bilateral Ties

President Prabowo Subianto Sunday (4/13) commenced an official state visit to Doha, where he was warmly received by the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, at Amiri Diwan Palace.
Upon his arrival, President Prabowo was greeted with an official welcoming ceremony that included the national anthems of both nations and an inspection of the honor of guard.
The two Heads of State then introduced members of their respective delegates before proceeding to a bilateral meeting.
The Indonesian delegates included Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Minister of Investment and Downstream/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani, Minister of Culture Fadli Zon, Minister of Public Housing and Settlement Areas Maruarar Sirait, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and Indonesian Ambassador to Qatar Ridwan Hassan.
During the bilateral meeting, President Prabowo and Emir Sheikh Tamim explored opportunities to deepen strategic cooperation in various sectors.
The session was followed by a tête-à-tête, held in a warm and cordial setting.
The visit concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, which reflected both countries’ commitment to enhancing partnerships across multiple priority sectors.
The Emir of Qatar then hosted an official luncheon in honor of President Prabowo and the Indonesian delegates.
