President Prabowo Subianto officialy concluded his state visit in Brazil and left Brasilia on board the Presidential Aircraft Garuda Indonesia-1 which took off from Brasilia Air Base at 05:20 PM local time, on Wednesday (09/07).

Brazilian Ambassador to Indonesia H.E. George Prata, other high-rank officials from Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (such as Secretary of Asia and the Pacific H.E. Susan Kleebank and Director of India, South and Southeast Asia Everton Lucero), and Commander of the Brasilia Air Base Colonel Nicolas saw off the President’s departure. Meanwhile, Indonesian Ambassador to Brazil H.E. Edi Yusup and Indonesian Defense Attaché to Brazil Infantry Colonel Rizal Ashwan also joined the see-off ceremony.

During his visit in Brazil, President Prabowo attended the BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro on 6-7 July 2025, which was followed by state visit in Brasilia. The state visit was expected to strengthen bilateral relations and broaden strategic cooperations in various sectors, particularly agriculture, defense, technology, and other global matters.
