President Prabowo Subianto, Thursday (01/09), paid a courtesy call to his Malaysian counterpart Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim at Rumah Tangsi heritage building in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The meeting was arranged to strengthen the robust bilateral relations between the two countries in multiple sectors.

The President was warmly welcomed by PM Anwar upon arrival at the building. The two leaders then walked together to the porch of the building to see the Petronas Twin Towers, one of the country’s landmarks.

Inside Rumah Tangsi, President Prabowo was presented with artworks from Malaysian artists depicting connections to Malaysian culture and history. The artwork is part of a mini-exhibition themed “Crossing Oceans: True Bonds, Inheritance.”

Afterward, President Prabowo and PM Anwar headed to the dining area to enjoy lunch together with traditional ensemble gamelan music playing. The two leaders also exchanged ideas about various strategic issues and cooperation between their countries in the future.

For the record, President Prabowo arrived at Bunga Raya Complex of Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia on Thursday (01/09) at around 10:00 local time. His arrival was welcomed by Malaysian Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan and Indonesian Ambassador to Malaysia Indera Hermono.
