President Prabowo Receives Honorary Medal at 80th Anniversary of National Police
President Prabowo Subianto attends the 80th Anniversary Ceremony of the National Police of Indonesia, held at the Mobile Brigade Corps Training Field in Cikeas village, Bogor regency, West Java province, on Wednesday (07/01).
President Prabowo Subianto has been awarded the Loka Praja Samrakshana Medal, an honorary medal for public safety and security.
Chief of the Indonesian National Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo presented the medal at the 80th Anniversary Ceremony of the Indonesian National Police, held at the Mobile Brigade Corps Training Field in Cikeas village, Bogor regency, West Java province, on Wednesday (07/01).
The conferment of the medal is a form of respect for the Head of State for extraordinary service in supporting the development and advancement of the National Police in law enforcement, as well as in protecting, safeguarding, and serving the people, nation, and state.
The meaning of the Loka Praja Samrakshana Medal is rooted in Sanscrit. The word “loka” means region or state, “praja” means people or society, while “samrakshana” means protection or security. Overall, the term is interpreted as protection for the people, nation, and state. The meaning reflects the spirit of the National Police’s service and national leadership in maintaining state security, order, and stability.
During the ceremony, the Head of State expressed appreciation to the National Police Chief and all his ranks for their dedication, discipline, and service to the people.
“I would like to thank the National Police Chief and all his ranks who have continued to improve their organization, enhance professionalism, increase discipline, strengthen public service, and create synergy with all components of the nation. Maintain the honor of the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia, and most importantly, protect the nation and people of Indonesia,” he said.
President Prabowo also conveyed his congratulations to all ranks of the National Police for their institution’s anniversary.
“Happy 80th anniversary to the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia. The police for the people, the police for Advanced Indonesia. Always defend the people, always protect Indonesia.
