President Prabowo Returns to Indonesia after France Working Visit

President Prabowo Subianto Tuesday (07/15) departed from Paris Orly Airport, France, aboard Garuda Indonesia-1 aircraft, concluding his official visit to several friendly nations.

Before walking up the stairs to board the aircraft, President Prabowo was seen off by French Ambassador to Indonesia Fabien Penone, Indonesian Ambassador to the French Republic Muhammad Oemar, and Indonesian Attaché of Defense Air Marshal Anang Surdwiyono. A French military honor guard was also present to bid farewell to the Head of State.

During his time in Paris, President Prabowo attended the Bastille Day celebrations as a guest of honor—becoming the first Indonesian President to receive an official invitation to the historic event, a testament to the strengthening ties between Indonesia and France.

Afterward, the President attended a private dinner held at the Élysée Palace, hosted by the French President Emmanuel Macron.

President Prabowo’s visit coincided with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and France—an important milestone in deepening cooperation and friendship across various sectors.
