President Prabowo Sends Off CPV General Secretary Tô Lâm Following State Visit

President Prabowo Subianto, Tuesday (03/11), personally sent off the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) Central Committee Tô Lâm and Spouse Ngô Phu’o’ng Ly before their departure for Singapore for the General Secretary’s next state visit.
This moment marked the end of the General Secretary’s state visit to Indonesia, which was filled with a series of strategic meetings aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
Previously, the General Secretary and his delegation met with the Speaker of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR), the Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR), and the Speaker of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) at Nusantara Building in Senayan, Jakarta.
With a warm smile and a firm handshake, President Prabowo welcomed the General Secretary at the waiting room of the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta.
In the waiting room, both leaders chatted in a friendly atmosphere. Afterward, they walked out of the waiting room to the plane by passing through the honor guards. President Prabowo then gave a respectful farewell to the General Secretary and his spouse just before they climbed the stairs.
The plane carrying the General Secretary then left the country at around 11:55 a.m. Western Indonesian Time.
A number of high officials were also present with the President to send off the General Secretary, namelyMinister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to the Republic of Indonesia Tạ Văn Thông, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam Denny Abdi, and Deputy Governor of Jakarta Rano Karno.
This visit, which coincides with the 70th anniversary of Indonesia-Viet Nam diplomatic relations, serves as an important momentum in strengthening strategic cooperation between the two countries.
