President Prabowo Subianto Ends State Visit to France After Series of High-Level Engagements in Paris

President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto concludes the state visit to Paris, France, on Friday (05/29).
President Prabowo Subianto Friday (05/29) concluded his official state visit to Paris, French Republic.
The Head of State with a limited entourage departed from Orly Airport in Paris en route back to Jakarta.
Upon arrival at Orly Airport, President Prabowo Subianto received military honors, with 21 honor guards lined up on both sides of the red carpet.
Welcoming the Head of State on the red carpet were Minister Delegate for Francophonie, International Partnerships and French Nationals Abroad Eléonore Caroit, and the Military Governor of Paris General Loïc Mizon.
The send-off atmosphere was solemn, reflecting the French Government’s respect for the Indonesian Head of State.
At the aircraft steps, President Prabowo Subianto was also seen off by several officials, including French Ambassador to Indonesia Fabien Penone, Indonesian Ambassador to France Mohamad Oemar, and Indonesian Defense Attaché in Paris Air First Marshal Hendra Gunawan.
During his stay in Paris, the President carried out a series of important engagements aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Indonesia and France.
The Head of State began his visit by attending an official state welcoming ceremony at Les Invalides and a bilateral meeting with President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace in Paris.
President Prabowo Subianto also attended a state dinner hosted by President Macron at the Salle des Fêtes, Élysée Palace.
Amidst the state visit, President Prabowo Subianto also performed the Eid al-Adha prayer together with the Indonesian community and diaspora in Paris.
The President’s state visit to France underscores Indonesia’s unwavering commitment to strengthening active diplomacy and expanding strategic cooperation with friendly countries in the European region.
