President Prabowo Subianto, Prince MBS Advance Indonesian Hajj Village Plan in Mecca

President Prabowo Subianto on Wednesday (12/10) held a telephone conversation with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (MBS).
The warm and constructive high-level discussion covered key issues that underscore the close relation between the two countries.
In his written statement, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that the Saudi Crown Prince MBS opened the conversation by extending condolences and his full support towards Indonesian Government and people over the disasters that have occurred in several regions.
The Prince also emphasized that Saudi Arabia’s solidarity would always be with Indonesia as a friendly nation, Teddy added.
“Indonesia is a great country, led by a President remains strong in facing any situation,” said Saudi Crown Prince MBS, as quoted in the Cabinet Secretary’s written statement.
Cabinet Secretary also explained that the telephone conversation discussed continuation of Indonesian Hajj Village’s construction plan, which is intended to improve services for Indonesian hajj pilgrims.
He added that both leaders discussed several key aspects, ranging from site selection and design and construction process to the facilities that will be prepared to ensure comfort and efficiency for the pilgrims.
“President Prabowo Subianto and Saudi Crown Prince MBS discussed the continuation of Hajj village’s construction plan, covering site selection, the construction process, and the preparation of facilities that will be dedicated to serving Indonesian hajj pilgrims,” Cabinet Secretary wrote.
The conversation, Teddy added, also reaffirmed the strengthening bilateral relationship between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, particularly in thar areas of humanitarian cooperation, development, as well as religious services.
The Government of Indonesia hopes that this cooperation will deliver tangible benefits to the public, particularly the millions of Indonesian hajj pilgrims who each year becomes the guests of Allah in the Holy Land.
