Presiden Prabowo Subianto menegaskan komitmen pemerintah untuk menegakkan keadilan dan menghadirkan kemakmuran bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia sebagai amanat utama Undang-Undang Dasar 1945

President Prabowo affirms his commitment to fairness and prosperity for all people.

President Prabowo Subianto Sunday (02/08) reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to upholding justice and creating prosperity for all Indonesians, in line with the core mandate of the 1945 Constitution.

The commitment was conveyed in his remarks at the Mujahadah Kubro event commemorating the centennial of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) held at Gajayana Stadium in Malang city, East Java province.

“The Constitution states that our foremost national duty and objective is to protect the entire Indonesian nation and its homeland. I accept this duty and mandate, and I interpret protecting the nation as protecting the Indonesian people,” the President said, adding that justice and prosperity can only be realized when the nation’s wealth is managed with honesty and responsibility for the benefit of the people.

“We must not hesitate, and neither I nor the Government will hesitate, to fight all forms of corruption, fraud, manipulation, and any act of plundering the wealth of the Indonesian people. I will not waver, nor will I retreat even a single step,” he said.

The President added that the Government has demonstrated this commitment through concrete actions, including ensuring fair and affordable access to fertilizer for farmers, achieving rice self-sufficiency, and lowering food prices.

Alhamdulillah, for the first time in the history of our Republic, rice reserves in government warehouse have reached their highest level. Since December 31, 2025, Indonesia has achieved rice self-sufficiency, and insha Allah, corn self-sufficiency will follow soon. Within three years, we aim to achieve full food self-sufficiency. We remain determined to lower food prices for all Indonesians,” the President said.

In addition, the Government continues to expand social protection programs and enhance public welfare, including through the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program.

Other Government priorities include job creation, advancing national industrialization, and providing millions of decent and affordable homes for the people.

“We are firmly determined to build Indonesia into a developed nation where all Indonesians enjoy progress and a decent quality of life. We are constructing millions of affordable homes for those in need, ” he concluded.  (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (RD/EP)
