President Prabowo Subianto Receives Report on Nominations for State Honors and Service Medals

President Prabowo Subianto Tuesday (09/01) met with Minister of Culture Fadli Zon to discuss proposals for awarding titles, service medals, and state honors.

The proposed recipients are public figures and members of the public considered to have made significant contributions and provided significant benefits to society, the nation, and the state.

During the meeting, the Minister, in his capacity as Chair of the Council for Titles, Medals of Service, and Honors, reported to the President on nominations submitted by ministries, government institutions, and members of the public.

The report was part of the formal process for proposing titles, medals of service, and honors for individuals considered to meet the eligibility.

Several of the proposed candidates were considered to have rendered significant services, made major contribution, and had an exceptional impact on society, the nation, and the state.

Other consideration includes the nominees’ track record of service and dedication. Their contributions were deemed worthy of recognition and expected to serve as an example for the public.

The Minister’s report on the nominations will serve as a consideration for President Prabowo Subianto in deciding whether to confer titles, medals of service, and state honors.
