President Prabowo Subianto Receives UAE Energy Minister at Kertanegara

As a strategic move to enhance the partnership between Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), President Prabowo Subianto on Thursday (01/30) welcomed UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei in President Prabowo’s residence in Kertanegara, Jakarta province.

Following the meeting, Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono stated that the discussion aimed to follow up on various cooperation agreements that already have a legal framework between the two nations. Additionally, the meeting sought to ensure the proper implementation of these agreements.

“He came here to follow up on the agreements and review the details of their progress,” the Minister said.

According to him, the cooperation discussed spans several strategic sectors, including energy and housing, along with other comprehensive areas.

“There are many sectors, including energy, housing, and other broad areas,” he said.

On that occasion, Sugiono further said that President Subianto did not issue specific instructions to his team but underscored the importance of optimal and swift execution of all agreements resolving any challenges that may arise.

“There is nothing specific, but the President instructed us to implement all agreements as effectively as possible. Should any issues arise, solutions must be found immediately,” he stated.
