President Prabowo Subianto Reviews National Strategic Programs with Cabinet in Hambalang

President Prabowo holds a meeting with several members of the Red and White Cabinet at his residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Sunday (01/25).

President Prabowo Subianto Sunday (01/25) convened a meeting with several members of the Red and White Cabinet at his residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java.

The meeting was held after the Head of State returned home from concluding a series of overseas trips.

Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya in a written statement said that the President reviewed the progress of several national strategic programs with relevant officials.

“Upon his arrival from overseas trips, President Prabowo wanted to review the progress of several strategic programs with relevant officials,” Cabinet Secretary Teddy wrote.

During the meeting, the President received updated reports on progress in various strategic sectors, among others such as progress of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative development presented by Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan and report on the state of the oil and gas energy sector by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia.

The President also received a presentation on cooperation in higher education on engineering and mineral and coal from Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto.

Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa further presented on banking sector progress.

In defense and security sectors, President Prabowo Subianto received a direct report from Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin and Commander of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) General Agus Subiyanto.

Regarding the regulation of national forest areas, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin also gave a report to the President.

“The meeting, which lasted from afternoon to evening, was attended by Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Minister of State Secretary, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Minister of Finance, Commander and Deputy Commander of TNI, Attorney General, Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), and Cabinet Secretary,” said Teddy.
