President Prabowo Subianto Strengthens Solidarity during Dinner with Cadets

President Prabowo Subianto, Wednesday (06/01), held a dinner with Indonesian Defense University (Unhan) cadets, at the Unhan dining hall, Bogor, West Java province. Also joining the dinner as the guest of honor is the Minister of Defense of Pakistan.

After receiving report from the cadets’ representative, President Prabowo rang the bell to mark the beginning of the dinner banquet.

As a token of respect, the national anthem of Pakistan was reverberated, and all attendees stood attentively in solemn silence. The President then requested that the Indonesian national anthem “Indonesia Raya” also be played. The audience stood upright, singing with a strong sense of nationalism.

“Today, we had the honor to host the Minister of Defense of Pakistan. As a token of our respect, let us stand up and listen to the national anthem of Pakistan,” President Prabowo said.

Another expression of solidarity was demonstrated during the dinner, when President Prabowo invited a Palestinian student to come forward. The President then reaffirmed Indonesia’s support for the Palestinian people’s struggle for independence.

“We have a student from Palestine with us tonight. Please come forward and lead us in singing the national anthem of Palestine, as a form of our respect for their pursuit of independence,” he added.

A representative of the Palestinian students stood at the front of the room and sang the national anthem with deep emotion. The cadets and invited guests listened in respectful silence, honoring the moment as a powerful symbol of the solidarity and humanitarian values upheld by Indonesia.

In addition to the invited guests and cadets, the dinner banquet was also attended by dozens of journalists covering the inauguration of the new campus at Unhan. The dinner banquet demonstrated  international camaraderie and served as an occasion where the spirit of unity and global solidarity was gathered and nurtured.
