President Prabowo Subianto to Attend APEC Summit in Peru

President Prabowo Subianto on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, arrived at the Grupo 8 Alar Air Force Base, Jorge Chavez International Airport, Lima, Peru, at around 10:35 PM local time.

The President was welcomed by Peruvian Minister of Agriculture Angel Manuel Manero Campos, Indonesian Ambassador to Peru Ricky Suhendar, Commander General del Ala Aérea N° 2 Major General Julio Cesar Gutiérrez Gonzales, and Deputy Head of State Protocol of Peru Minestera Sandra pinto La Fuente.

Afterward, guard of honor welcomed President Prabowo, and accompanied the President to the vehicle. The President and his entourage then departed from the airport to the hotel where he would stay overnight in Peru.

During the visit, President Prabowo Subianto was scheduled to make a state visit and attend the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit. In addition, President Prabowo would also hold bilateral meetings with a number of friendly country leaders on the sidelines of his visit.

Previously, President Prabowo departed from Andrews Military Base, Washington DC, United States, at around 02.00 PM local time. During his visit, President Prabowo held several meetings, including one with US President Joe Biden at the White House. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/DNS) (ZI/RI)
