President Prabowo Subianto Visits Victims of Kalibaru School Accident, Ensuring Best Medical Care

President Prabowo Subianto expressed sympathy and concern for the victims of a food delivery truck accident that occurred at Kalibaru Elementary School in Cilincing, North Jakarta by visiting them at Koja public hospital Tuesday (12/16).

A total of nine teachers and students were treated, and six of whom have been discharged, while three patients remain under intensive care.

One of the victims is Filio, who is currently receiving treatment in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) following facial reconstructive surgery.

The President also visited Maryono, a teacher receiving post-operative care for a fractured leg, as well as Werren, a student who remains hospitalized but is reported to be in increasingly stable condition.

The President received a direct briefing from the medical team on the victims’ latest conditions and the treatments being administered.

While visiting Filio, the President warmly greeted the child and offered words of encouragement.

“Get well soon. Once you recover, you can eat well. Stay healthy, Filio. Be strong, you are brave,” he said.

To Werren, the President conveyed a motivational message, encouraging the student to remain positive throughout recovery and to continue pursuing education.

“Study well. One day, you will be able to take care of your grandmother,” he said.

The visit underscored the Government’s commitment to providing moral support.

President Prabowo also ensured that all victims receive the best possible medical treatment, allowing them to fully recover and resume their daily activities. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (RD/EP)
