President Prabowo Subianto delivered a firm warning against corruption and abuse of power within his administration.

In his speech as the Inspector of the 2025 Pancasila Day Ceremony, at the Pancasila Building, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jakarta, Monday (06/02), the President emphasized that the state will not remain silent against violations that harm the people and is determined to enforce the law without any discrimination or favoritism.

“Once again, in this historic place, on behalf of the Indonesian people, I warn all elements in all institutions: immediately correct yourselves, immediately transform yourselves, because the state will take action. Our country is strong. We will get rid of those who are not loyal to the country without hesitation, without favoritism, regardless of family ties, political party, or ethnicity,” President Prabowo stressed in his speech.

Not only issuing a warning, he also stated that eradicating corruption will be a priority agenda of his administration. The Head of State mentioned that corruption still occurs and must be eradicated immediately for the sake of justice and the welfare of the nation.

“Our wealth is, once again, so enormous, but there are too many thieves stealing the people’s money. For that reason, I am determined to take strict action against all those problems. I ask for support from all Indonesian people,” the President said.

On that occasion, he also urged the youth to participate in monitoring the government’s performance using technology as a tool for public control, and not hesitating to report violations committed by officials who abuse power.

“When you see officials or leaders commit any violations, do report it. Now we have technology. Every citizen, even in the village, can use gadgets. If there is evidence of violations, immediately broadcast it. Do not tolerate corruption. Do not tolerate officials who abuse their powers and are not loyal to the nation and state,” the President said.

This year’s Pancasila Day ceremony is not merely an annual event. Under President Prabowo’s leadership, the commitment to uphold justice and to eradicate corruption is reaffirmed as a concrete step towards a better, stronger, and more integrity-driven Indonesia. (BPMI) (EST/TM)
