President Prabowo Visits Central Aceh Regency, Ensures Fast Recovery for Flood-Affected People

President Prabowo Subianto continued to carry out his inspection to flood-affected areas in Aceh province by visiting evacuees’ shelter in Al Abrar Great Mosque, Central Aceh regency, Friday (12/12). The mosque has become a shelter for about 1,500 people from a number of surrounding villages.
“I come here today to check the condition and also to discuss with the Regent, Vice Regent, and local figures to figure out how we can do a fast recovery,” President Prabowo said.
In his remarks, President Prabowo firmly stated that the Government exists during this hard time to assist and help the people affected by the flood. The Head of State also stressed that the Central Government and regional governments, and all related elements are working hand-in-hand to speed up recovery in the affected areas.
“Indeed, the condition is tough and distressing, but please believe that you are not alone. We are all determined and working hard to help all people here, to ease your burdens,” he said.
“Please be patient, Insya Allah, we will be able to make a quick recovery to make life easier,” the President added.
Lastly, President Prabowo expressed his hopes and wishes for the safety of all the people. He reassured that the Government will use all its potentials to ensure prompt disaster response in the area.
