President Prabowo witnesses 10 MoU on strategic partnership between Indonesia and South Korea at the Blue House, South Korea, on Wednesday (04/01).
President Prabowo Subianto on Wednesday (04/01) witnessed the exchange of 10 MoU between Indonesia and South Korea at the Blue House, the Republic of Korea Presidential Palace.
This event marks a stronger and long-term-oriented strategic partnership between the two republics. The agreements covered priority sectors, including economy, energy, digital, health, and future industry, as follows:
- MoU on the Establishment of Special Comprehensive Strategic Dialogue;
- MoU on Economic Partnership 2.0;
- MoU on Critical Mineral Partnership;
- MoU on Digital Development Partnership;
- MoU on AI Partnership for Basic Health and Human Development;
- MoU on Clean Energy Advancement Partnership;
- MoU on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Partnership;
- MoU on Offshore Power Generation Services Industry Partnership;
- MoU on the Protection and Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights Partnership; and
- MoU on Financial Partnership (Danantara-Exim Bank of Korea).
With this agreement, the Government highlighted a shared commitment to creating a resilient future through a strong and mutual partnership. This cross-sector collaboration is expected to boost inclusive economic growth, enhance industry resilience, and accelerate economic transformation towards technology-based and clean energy-oriented.
The partnership marks a concrete measure to strengthen Indonesia-South Korea’s bilateral ties and their position as strategic partners amid global challenges. Both nations also underscore a shared goal to achieve sustainable development, industry competitiveness, and long-term collaboration for the sake of the people.
