President Prabowo Witnesses Constitutional Judge’s, Ombudsman Members’ Oath of Office

President Prabowo Subianto on Friday (10/04) at the State Palace, Jakarta, witnessed the oath of office taken by a constitutional judge and members of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2026-2031 term of office.
Liliek Prisbawono Adi was appointed as the constitutional judge based on Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia (Keppres) Number 36/P of 2026 on the Dismissal and Appointment of Constitutional Judges proposed by the Supreme Court.
The Presidential Decree was read out by the Deputy for State Apparatus Administration of the Ministry of State Secretariat, Nanik Purwanti. Afterwards, Liliek Prisbawono Adi took the oath of office before the President.
“I do solemnly swear that I will fulfill the duties of Constitutional Judge to the best of my capabilities and in the fairest way possible, to uphold the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, and to execute all laws and regulations in accordance with the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as to dedicate myself to the service of the nation and the people,” Liliek said.
On the same occasion, members of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2026-2031 term of office were inaugurated based on Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia (Keppres) Number 20/P of 2026 on the Dismissal and Appointment of the Members of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia.
The newly-appointed members of the Ombudsman are:
- Hery Susanto, as Chairperson-cum-member;
- Rahmadi Indra Tektona, as Deputy Chairperson-cum-member;
- Abdul Ghoffar, as a member;
- Fikri Yasin, as a member;
- Maneger Nasution, as a member;
- Nuzran Joher, as a member;
- Partono, as a member;
- Robertus Na Endi Jaweng, as a member; and
- Syafrida Rachmawati Rasahan, as a member.
“I do solemnly swear that I will fulfill the duties of Chairperson/Deputy Chairperson/member of the Ombudsman to the best of my capabilities and in the fairest way possible. I do solemnly swear that I shall not, directly or indirectly, receive or accept from any person any promise, gift, or other consideration in order to influence my actions or decisions,” members of the Ombudsman read out the oath of office.
The event then continued with the signing of the minutes by the constitutional judge and the chairperson of the Ombudsman, and ended with President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming giving congratulations to the newly-inaugurated officials, followed by other invited guests.
Also attending the event were heads of state institutions, ministers and vice ministers of the Red-and-White Cabinet, Commander of the Indonesian National Defense Forces (TNI) General Agus Subiyanto, Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Attorney General ST Burhanuddin.
