As part of the Government’s efforts to strengthen law enforcement and safeguard state assets, particularly in the forestry and natural resources sectors, President Prabowo Subianto Wednesday (24/12) witnessed the presentation of the report on the achievements of the Forest Area Control Task Force (PKH Task Force) and the 2025 state financial rescue at the Main Building of the Attorney General’s Office Complex in Jakarta.
The event commenced with the presentation of the report by Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, who outlined the achievements of PKH Task Force.
On that occasion, the Attorney General reported that, to date, the PKH Task Force has successfully reclaimed forest areas totaling 4,081,560.58 hectares. Of this figure, he explained that 893,002.383 hectares were reclaimed during Phase V.
The areas comprise 240,575.383 hectares of oil palm plantations reclaimed from 124 legal entities across six provinces, which were handed over through the Ministry of Finance and Danantara and are being managed by Agrinas, and 688,427 hectares of conservation forest areas spread across nine provinces, which were transferred to the Ministry of Forestry for restoration purposes.

Besides the achievements in reclaiming forest areas, the Attorney General also reported on the outcomes of state financial recovery and the collection of administrative fines.
According to the Attorney General, state funds amounting to Rp6,625,294,190,469.74 were handed over during the event.
The funds originated from the collection of administrative forestry fines by the PKH Task Force, amounting to Rp2,344,965,750,000 from 20 palm oil companies and one nickel mining company, as well as Rp4,280,328,440,469.74 from the recovery of state funds through the Attorney General’s Office’s handling of corruption cases related to the granting of crude palm oil (CPO) export facilities and a sugar import case.
President Prabowo also expressed his highest appreciation to all ministries and institutions involved.
The Head of State specifically highlighted the dedication of field officers in overcoming various challenges, ranging from verification processes to law enforcement efforts.
“I extend my gratitude on behalf of the state, the nation, and the people of Indonesia. You have worked extremely hard under difficult circumstances, having to verify and examine more than four million hectares of land—a vast area—as well as confront numerous violating corporations, including their attempts to obstruct verification, hinder investigations, and resist enforcement efforts, which we have fully anticipated,” the President remarked.
