President Reviewed the Readiness of Implementation of the 60 Years KAA Commemoration in Bandung

President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) scheduled on Thursday (16/4) afternoon will be a working visit to Bandung, to review the readiness of the venue for the 60th Commemoration of Asian-African Conference (KAA) in 2015.

During the visit, President Jokowi will be accompanied by the Chairman of the Committee KAA, Luhut B Panjaitan; Minister of Foreign Affairs; Minister of State Secretary; and other officials.

Before heading to Bandung, in the morning, President attended the Greatness Ceremony for Handing the Command Stick and Awarding Beret of President by the Army (TNI) Commander at the TNI Headquarters Cilangkap.

Ahead of the 60th anniversary of the KAA, Bandung has prepared to welcome this great event.

On this 60th anniversary of the KAA, indeed is not only the city of Bandung which hosted, the first event will be held in Jakarta on 19-23 April 2015.

The second meeting will be held in Bandung on April 24, 2015. This date is the top event and will be attended by the leaders of Asian and African countries.

The theme will be carried out; in the 60th anniversary of the Asian-African Summit is reinforcement, strengthening, south-south cooperation. At the same time, South-South cooperation as well as contribute to the efforts to promote the peace and prosperity of the world. (Humas Setkab/ES)
