President Prabowo Subianto Saturday (11/09) visited the Monument to the People’s Heroes at Tiananmen Square in Beijing, the People’s Republic of China (PRC), for a floral tribute.

Upon arrival at 12.00 local time, the President was welcomed by PRC’s Vice Foreign Minister Sun Wei Dong and a number of high-ranking PRC government officials.

President Subianto stood in front of the floral tribute and listened to the two countries’ national anthems. Afterward, the President followed the wreath as it was moved to the front of the Monument to the People’s Heroes.

When the song “Flowers to the Heroes” finished playing, the Head of State tidied up the wreath ribbon and paid his respect before heading to the vehicle lineup to leave Tiananmen Square.

Joining the President on that occasion were Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Development/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board Rosan Roeslani, and several other ministers of the Red and White Cabinet.
