Head of Presidential Secretariat launches “Pandang Istana”, an official website for public who wish to join virtual independence ceremony on Monday (10/8), at the Presidential Office, Jakarta (Photo: BPMI).

Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono on Monday (10/8) officially launched “Pandang Istana”, an official website for registration of virtual participation of ceremony to commemorate the 75th Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

“Unlike in the previous years, this year we invite the public to attend the 75th Indonesian Independence Day ceremony virtually,” Heru said.

According to Heru, anyone who wish to participate in the virtual ceremony can register in advance through the Pandang Istana webpage at https://pandangistana.setneg.go.id.

The Presidential Secretariat has allocated 17,845 invitations for the virtual ceremony on 17 August 2020. Applicants who apply for the invitation will first be subject to data verification.

Afterwards, the applicants will receive a message via Whatsapp and an email containing the guideline to follow the the ceremony of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia or the National Flag-Lowering Ceremony at the Merdeka Palace in person via video conference.
