AssalamuÂ’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
We are currently in Radin Inten II Airport, in the province of Lampung. It is important for me to say that this morning I ordered the Minister of Transportation, after I saw the facilities at this airport, the terminals are very adequate and well-prepared, the runway and also the apron for parking the plane are so ready, so I ordered to the Minister of Transportation to immediately designate Radin Inten II Airport as an international airport.
I also ordered that direct flights be opened, be it from Singapore to Lampung or from Malaysia to Lampung, in order to improve tourism and investment. We expect that the opening of Radin Inten II Airport as an international airport will increase the economic growth and tourism in this Lampung province.
