President of the Republic of Indonesia (Prabowo Subianto)
Thank you. Thank God, it was quite a long journey. But I believe it was beneficial and productive. We received warm receptions everywhere, and, thank God, the meetings at the UN were very productive. I believe the messages I conveyed in my speech at the UN were also positively received by many leaders. I am hopeful that this time we can find a breakthrough, especially on the issue of Palestine and Gaza. Hopefully, we will have a breakthrough over the next few days. We pray for that. I see goodwill from many parties. We urgently need a ceasefire for the people of Gaza and a substantive resolution. So, I believe, thank God, this visit was fruitful.

In Canada, we also achieved a breakthrough. We successfully signed the CEPA, the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. So, free trade between Canada and Indonesia is another breakthrough. We finalized one with Europe after 10 years, and now with Canada after several years. A breakthrough indeed.

In the Netherlands, I was warmly welcomed by the King, who returned 30,000 artifacts. Thirty thousand items that they had taken from Indonesia were returned to us. I believe this reflects the goodwill of the Netherlands in maintaining good relations with us. Additionally, the Queen is a finance expert and will be visiting on November 25 to discuss with our financial experts how to support financial literacy for our people who are still not well-versed in it, with assistance from the UN, and so on. I think that’s about it.

Journalists
Sir, several heads of state have called you directly regarding your speech. Can you tell us who they are, sir?

President of the Republic of Indonesia (Prabowo Subianto)
Yes, several heads of state called me. Some even came in person. They were impressed by Indonesia’s position, which truly seeks a common ground. We want a substantive resolution. I suppose that’s about it.

Journalists
Mr. Prabowo, regarding Free Nutritious Meals. Do you have any specific instructions for the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), sir?

President of the Republic of Indonesia (Prabowo Subianto)
Well, I have been abroad for seven days and have been monitoring the developments. After this, I will immediately call the Head of BGN and several officials to discuss this issue. This is a significant issue. Indeed, there were definitely shortcomings in the beginning, but I am confident that we will resolve this properly. We must be vigilant and prevent this from turning into a political issue. The purpose of the [Free] Nutritious Meals program is to help our children who often have difficulty eating. We may eat reasonably well, but these children eat only rice and salt. This is what we must address. Feeding millions of people will inevitably involve obstacles and challenges, but we will overcome them. (FI/MMB)
