How was your today’s visit, Pak?

I wanted to make sure that medical devices, provided by the central government through Special Allocation Fund (DAK) or Ministry of Health, be useful and beneficial for public. We can see here the hospital has cath lab, mammography, and CT scan and they are working properly. There are also medical specialists. However, the hospital has not had MRI yet. This year we will provide MRI for Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Muara Bungo.

Second, the hospital needs more patient rooms. Therefore, we will build the rooms to increase the capacity of existing rooms because the hospital provides services for people from Muara Bungo, Dharmasraya, Merangin, Tebo, and other regencies.

Yes, I have instructed Minister of Public Works and Housing to immediately send a team here. The DED (Detailed Engineering Design) has been done. We have to make sure whether DED needs revision or redesign. We will see the result after the team arrives.

We are focusing on medical devices. Then, as the hospital lacks medical beds and patient rooms, we also pay attention to add more buildings so there will be more rooms and beds.
