Press Statement of President of the Republic of Indonesia after Topping Off Housing for State Civil Servants and Defense and Security Personnel, in the Capital City of Nusantara Area, North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province, March 1, 2024

Yes, one of the reasons I came here was to ensure that the housing towers for our state civil servants and for defense and security personnel could be completed on time. Later in July, 12 towers will be completed, then 21 [towers] in September, plus 14 [towers] in November which means that a total of 47 [towers] will be completed by the end of November. So, the transfer of state civil servants and defense and security personnel here can start in June. It proceeds slowly, [because] this work still needs long time to complete but it must be started.

And, today we have topped off the buildings to show that the buildings are almost finished, they are already half finished. Yes, that’s all.
